I let the cello sit for a week after adding the simple syrup.
Well - the verdict is in, and I’m obsessed. I love the bitterness paired with a slight sweetness. It doesn’t have an incredibly strong grapefruit flavor, but it’s full of bittery citrus!
Once the peels sat in the vodka for about 3 weeks, I added the simple syrup which added the “cloudy” factor that I love in a cello. Another week, and then I removed the peels and we were done!
