#ChocolateForGood

What do you get when you combine:

Dandelion Chocolate
Chef Rodney from Avery
Chef Scott from Dads Luncheonette
Chef Matt from The Harbor House Inn

If you said an amazing meal, in a beautiful space, that benefits the San Francisco - Marin Food Bank, you would be correct!

My day job lets me be friends with some of the most talented in the Bay Area food and beverage world, for which I feel so lucky. They are always excited to be helping the community, and I always get excited at the creative ways our partners find to bring their passion to our work.

Every year, Dandelion Chocolate hosts the 12 Nights of Chocolate, which brings chefs from across the country together to celebrate the season and help the community. They share their talent, passion, and creativity to curate amazing dinners featuring chocolate from Dandelion, and this year was no exception.

Each year - I get obsessed with something as a result of this dinner…last year it was pickled strawberries that Chef Kelly Fields brought. And this year..This year?!

I Mean: Cured Amberjack, Smoked Ramps, Pumpkin Curry, Celery Root & Sea Urchin, Dry Aged Beef with CHOCOLATE STEAK SAUCE, Chocolate Parsnip Pie…

Did you read that: Chocolate Steak Sauce (and that course came with a sake pairing!) courtesy of Chef Rodney Wages.

Avery SF

Uniting elevated food with a fun atmosphere, we believe that an elegant meal should be lively and relaxed, never hushed. Our single tasting menu of nine courses offers vibrant and creative dishes that celebrate global flavors and seasonal produce while our beverage program specializes in rare and unique sake as well as Champagnes. Our space is intimate and refined, but not without its playful touches.

Drawing inspiration from American modern painter Milton Avery, the restaurant’s namesake, our style is bright, bold, and imaginative.

Dad’s Luncheonette

Dad’s Luncheonette is a historic train caboose on scenic Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, serving American roadside classics with a California focus, showcasing the best of coastal farms in the area.

The "Dad" is Scott Clark, who comes from the world of fine dining, and was formerly a three Michelin star chef de cuisine. Dad's Luncheonette is a culmination of Scott's desire for a lifestyle change after becoming a father, as well as bringing it back to what he enjoys the most - cooking good food and having fun with it, in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country.

The Harbor House Inn

The Harbor House Inn offers a 20-seat dining room that sits above the dramatic Pacific coastline. Our inspiration comes from exceptional local product, seasonality, and the coastal climate. Our seafood-driven menu is prepared by natural sources of heat, such as steam and fire, to highlight the true taste of north coast ingredients.
